On Friday, January 19th, 2024, we held our fourth quarterly health and safety management meeting for fiscal year 2023. During the meeting, the Chief Safety Officer reviewed our safety and health initiatives over the past year.
- implementing a hazardous work pre-approval system
- conducting daily risk assessment meetings
- training and encouraging employee participation in the introduction of smart risk assessments
- confirming the contents of the risk assessment with workers during TBM
While the above initiatives have been evaluated on a site-by-site basis and have achieved their objectives, we have set a new target of achieving 100% workers’ participation in smart risk assessment by fiscal year 2024.
We will ensure that safe construction is thoroughly implemented in accordance with our safety management standards to prevent serious accidents at all sites.
