On Friday, April 14, 2023, we held the Safety and Health Management Meeting for the first quarter of fiscal 2023.
Led by the Head Office Safety Director, the meeting reviewed the implementation of safety management by site and discussed in-depth solutions to problems and support measures.
We will thoroughly implement safety construction in accordance with our safety management standards to prevent major accidents from occurring at all sites.

The ribbon cutting ceremony for the ’19-Aircraft Flow Through Fuel System’ was held at Kunsan AB on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 1:00 pm. As the construction of two new 5,000BBL aviation fuel storage tanks and refueling facilities, we delivered the facilities to the US Air Force in time and with excellent construction quality. In addition, the US Army Corps of Engineers (FED), the client, highly praised our excellent safety management capabilities as there was not a single safety accident during the past three years of construction.
On March 17, 2023, we obtained the ISO 45001 “Safety and Health Management System” certificate. We will continue to do our best to manage safety and health at our headquarters and sites.
Our safety team held a safety team workshop on Saturday, March 11, at Namhansanseong. In order to internalize risk assessment, which has been emphasized by the recent Serious Accident Punishment Act, our safety team will provide intensive training to site safety managers on the newly created practice plan. On February 23, 2023, a fire safety drill was carried out at the new construction site of HB Building in Hwaseong Plant to better prepare for a potential fire incident.
