On the morning of November 1, 2022 (Tuesday), we held a groundbreaking ceremony at the site of the new HB Building of Yuhan Chemical Hwaseong Plant in Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do.
The new HB Building of Yuhan Chemical Hwaseong Plant has 6 floors and a gross floor area of 9,709.43㎡, and is scheduled for completion in October 2023.
We will do our best to provide the best construction quality with safe construction as our top priority.
On-site staff are working hard for full-scale RC structure construction.
All site staff with the site director are working hard to complete the works scheduled for 2022, such as the BTR opening and Oh-Ryu IC structure construction.
In particular, since the project is located on the Nambu Expressway, which is very busy with traffic, we are working to ensure the safety of vehicles and pedestrians first.
Our construction of the Sampo Tourist Pension Hotel in Goseong-gun, Gangwon-do has been completed.
It will open under the new name of “Blue View Hotel” and will be the premier boutique hotel on the east coast of Gangwon Province.
On Friday afternoon, 5th August, we conducted the “2022 Disaster Safety Drill” for all our staff at our headquarters.
The drill aims to enhance the crisis response capabilities of our staff in the event of a real crisis, by creating an emergency preparedness manual and conducting drills as required by the Serious Accident Punishment Act.
The drill covered CPR training, how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), operating fire alarms, reporting procedures, rapid evacuation, and fire extinguisher and fire hydrant training.
We are grateful to Ms. Jeon Mi-jin of the Gangnam Fire Department for her detailed and helpful guidance during this disaster safety drill.
On Friday, 12 August 2022, the Samseo Scholarship Foundation held a scholarship award ceremony.
This year, due to the re-spread of COVID-19, the scholarship award ceremony was held via non-face-to-face video.
The scholarship award ceremony was made even more meaningful by the presence of the scholarship recipients’ fathers.
Now in its 14th year, the Samseo Scholarship Foundation has awarded a total of KRW 435 million in scholarships.
Despite the hot weather, all site staff are working hard to ensure the progress and safety of the construction.

This is a photo of the groundbreaking ceremony for the Hwasun Chonnam National University Hospital Public Open Medical Innovation Centre on 13 July 2022.
The project is to construct a medical innovation centre with a gross floor area of 23,304.01 ㎡ on 2 basement floors and 7 ground floors, and a underground parking garage with a gross floor area of 11,714.46 ㎡ on 4 basement floors and 1 ground floor, with a target completion date of 10 June 2024. We will successfully complete this project with the highest quality and safety construction.
Prior to the groundbreaking ceremony, we and Hwasun Chonnam National University Hospital held a business agreement signing ceremony for zero serious accident during the construction.
On the morning of 4 July 2022, we conducted a fire safety drill at the new construction site of the Monami Cosmetics Factory.
On 5th July 2022, we held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of the Twosome Place Eum Sung Awesome Pairing Plant, which our company had constructed.
During the ceremony, our client, Twosome Place, presented us with a plaque of appreciation for delivering the project with excellent construction quality and a flawless safety record, within the contracted period, despite the challenging conditions posed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
